Halle Bailey has made it clear that she’s not here for messy drama and gossip, and immediately checked a fan that attempted to imply that she was pregnant.
The Chloe x Halle star took to her Instagram stories on Saturday (November 18) to address a comment written by a fan who said the singer had “that pregnancy nose,” and she appeared more than a little annoyed by the prospect.
“Listen,” she said, sipping on a drink. “If I see one more person say something about my nose, one more time, it’s gonna be hell to pay. And you know why? ‘Cuz I am Black. I love my nose. What is you concerned about my nose for?”
The fan’s comment didn’t come out of nowhere. Last month, some photos sparked a round of pregnancy rumors.
The star of The Little Mermaid was spotted wearing an oversized hoodie covering what some viewers thought was a baby bump in Santa Monica, CA, on October 16.
The Shade Room acquired the photos from Splash News, and the Chloe x Halle singer became a trending topic on social media almost instantly.
Neither Bailey nor her longtime boyfriend DDG have yet addressed the pregnancy rumors directly.

On September 19, the Michigan native posted a series of Snapchat Stories about surprising his girlfriend by taking her shopping. In a hilarious turn of events, he documented his change of heart as he was unable to keep up with her spending habits.
His tone changed with each post as Bailey eyed a number of pricey items, from $500 teacups to $30,000 earrings. By the end, DDG was even asking his followers if he should “abort the mission.”
Coming to terms with how there was no way out for him once she started picking out what she wanted, he shared a clip of himself with a defeated expression, writing: “It’s nowhere for me to run.”
