Next week will see the arrival of one of the most eagerly awaited 2023 releases. The follow-up to 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne’s 2016 joint album, COLLEGROVE, is set to be released on Friday, November 17. The idea that seven years have passed since the release of the record is absurd. However, the wait is almost over, and we can’t wait to see what these two legends have in store. They obviously still have a lot of gas remaining in them. Recently, Lil Wayne in particular has been extremely prolific. His previous project, Tha Fix Before The VI, was released.
Not to mention, his feature game has been insane. Weezy’s witty one-liners from “Brand New,” “Big Dog,” and “Never ʀie” are just a few amazing instances of his return to his roots. He now hopes to infuse Welcome 2 Collegrove with the same vigor and cleverness as 2 Chainz. We just received “Presha” a little while ago, and on Friday, November 10, we will receive another one.
2 Chainz Teases A New Single
Just over an hour ago, while I was writing this, 2 Chainz tweeted out a teaser for another song. He and Wayne will appear on the song titled “Long Story Short,” of course. It appears that there is one more rapper on it, though. It contains another trap legend, Juicy J, according to Genius. Naturally, this trio has previously given us hits like “Bandz A Make Her Dance.” Wayne’s bars may be heard in the teaser trailer for the corresponding music video, which was released by Tity Boi.
