The Boston Celtics are allergic to physicality, as the Orlando Magic showed

The Boston Celtics faced a humiliating defeat against the Orlando Magic at Amway Center on Friday afternoon, marking the Celtics’ worst loss of the season by 17 points. The Magic, on a six-game winning streak, exposed the Celtics’ biggest vulnerabilities, particularly their struggle against physicality.

Despite a promising start from star forward Jaylen Brown, who had a red-hot first quarter, the Celtics couldn’t withstand the Magic’s physical play, leading to a disastrous second half — especially for Brown, who finished the contest an abysmal 6-of-22 from the floor overall. The Celtics encountered significant difficulties handling the physicality brought by the Orlando Magic.

Poor 3-point shooting, isolation plays, and a lack of ball movement contributed to their offensive woes.
