UPDATE: Philadelphia 76ers And Boston Celtics Injury Reports

On Friday evening, the Philadelphia 76ers and Boston Celtics will face off in Massachusetts.

For the game, both teams have announced their injury reports (updated as of 4:30 Eastern Time).

The 76ers have ruled out Terquavion Smith, Javonte Smart, Kelly Oubre Jr., Danuel Houston Jr. and Ricky Council IV.

Jaden Springer and Nicolas Batum are both probable, while 2023 MVP Joel Embiid is questionable.

Meanwhile, the Celtics will be without Jordan Walsh, Kristaps Porzingis, Nathan Knight and JD Davison.

The 76ers enter the matchup with a 12-6 in their first 18 games, which has them as the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference.

They are 5-5 over their previous ten games and most recently lost to the New Orleans Pelicans by a score of 124-114.

Following the Celtics, the 76ers will play their next game on Wednesday when they visit Kyle Kuzma and the Washington Wizards.

As for the Celtics, they are the first seed in the Eastern Conference with a 14-4 record in their first 18 games.

They are 8-2 over their previous ten games and in the middle of a two-game winning streak.

Most recently, the Celtics defeated the Chicago Bulls by a score of 124-97.

Following the 76ers, they will play their next game on Monday when they visit the Indiana Pacers.

Last season, the Celtics beat the 76ers in the second round of the NBA playoffs.
