Has star forward Jaylen Brown truly regressed for the Boston Celtics this season, or are his struggles on the court with the Celtics a symptom of him adjusting to his new role with a new roster after a big shakeup in the NBA’s 2023 offseason?
Some analysts feel that it is more indicative of him navigating an changed role and that it will take some time for Brown, star big man Kristaps Porzingis, guards Derrick White and Jrue Holiday and fellow All-NBA forward Jayson Tatum to gel this season given all the changes to the team. Despite his struggles early on, Brown has had great chemistry with Porzingis and has showed off some tremendous off ball movement, so there are signs that he will figure it out as the season rolls on.
