Klay Thompson Made NBA History In Warriors-Trail Blazers Game

Klay Thompson moved up on the NBA’s all-time scoring list during Sunday’s game. On Sunday evening, the Golden State Warriors faced off against the Portland Trail Blazers in Oregon. 

The Warriors won the game by a score of 118-114, and Klay Thompson led the way with 28 points, four rebounds and one assist while shooting 11/16 from the field and 5/10 from the three-point range in 29 minutes of playing time. 

During the game, Thompson made NBA history by moving up on the all-time scoring list.

The five-time NBA All-Star moved ahead of Allan Houston (14,551) for 163rd on the list.

Following Houston, the next player for Thompson to pass will be Spencer Haywood (14,592). 

With the victory, the Warriors improved to 12-14 in their first 26 games, which has them as the 11th seed in the Western Conference.  



They are in the middle of a two-game winning streak and 6-8 in the 14 games they have played on the road away from the Chase Center in San Francisco, Califronia. 

Following the Trail Blazers, the Warriors will play their next game on Tuesday evening when they host Jaylen Brown and the Boston Celtics. 

As for the Trail Blazers, they dropped to 6-19 in their first 25 games, which has them as the 14th seed in the Western Conference. 

They are in the middle of a seven-game losing streak and 2-9 in the 11 games they have hosted on their home floor in Portland, Oregon. 

Following the Warriors, the Trail Blazers will host Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns in Oregon on Tuesday evening.
