Ex-Grіzzlіes Stаr Sootheѕ Steрhen Curry аs Wаrriors Dynаsty Threаtens to Crumble

s Stephen Curry losing his touch? The answer is probably no. However, Curry’s last performance against the Denver Nuggets does raise a lot of questions. It didn’t feel like it was Steph, the 4x NBA champion, arguably the greatest shooter this game has ever seen. Instead, it was an amateurish performance from one of the all-time greats.

A lot happened in the Golden State Warriors game against the Nuggets on Christmas Day. Since it ended with the Warriors losing the game, several questions are being raised about Curry and the Warriors dynasty. However, Chandler Parsons believes that this game can’t define Curry’s legacy.

Ex-NBA star dismisses crumbling dynasty claims in Stephen Curry’s support

Parsons said, “When you play like Steph Curry, and you launch these shots…There’s going to be some nights where you just don’t make them. And it’s gonna look really bad”. Curry registered 18 points in the last game against the Nuggets and had 2 rebounds and 4 assists to his name. The Warriors lost the game by 120-114 and are currently at the #10 position in the Western Conference charts. Parsons said, “He has played on the biggest stages in the world. I don’t think Christmas Day gets him rattled.”

In fact, Curry has always had subpar performances on Christmas Day in his career. As big as the day is and the league pushing for the 25th December games, fans don’t get to see the 4x NBA champion in his full glory. Parsons believes that Curry hitting 7/21 is a result of his style of play and not the Christmas Day pressure. He said, “It comes with how he plays. He takes these unorthodox, deep, crazy long shots and there’s gonna be games where he makes only 20-25% of them and it looks a little crazy.”

Parsons said that these Christmas Day records are not an actual representation of what Curry is as a player and the quality of basketball he is capable of playing. He said, “This is Steph Curry we’re talking about, I’m more worried about the makeup of this team, the future of this team.”

The 35-year-old also talked about coach Steve Kerr complaining about the foul calls and free throws given to the other team. He said these are things that fans and people should worry about and not Curry’s one bad performance. Because as we have seen for over a decade, when it’s crunch time, Curry is the most clutch player in the league.
