On Wednesday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers lost to Bam Adebayo and the Miami Heat (at home) by a score of 110-96.

He is now averaging 25.2 points, 12.5 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.2 steals and 2.7 blocks per contest while shooting 55.2% from the field and 36.4% from the three-point range in 33 games.
After the game, the 2020 NBA Champion met with the media and shared an honest statement (h/t Spectrum SportsNet).
Davis: “We got outworked tonight. So it’s a little bit of everything right now, and if we keep on this trend, it’s not going to be good for us. It’s kind of obvious that we’ve gotta figure it out sooner than later.”
With the loss, the Lakers dropped to 17-18 in their first 35 games, which has them as the tenth seed in the Western Conference.
They are just 2-8 over their last ten games and in the middle of a three-game losing streak.
That said, the Lakers have an excellent chance to turn things around, as their next four games are at home.
Currently, they are an impressive 11-5 in the 16 games they have hosted in Los Angeles, California.
Their next four matchups will be against the Memphis Grizzlies (Friday), Los Angeles Clippers (Sunday), Toronto Raptors (Tuesday), and Phoenix Suns (Thursday).
